Awana is a ministry that is focused on reaching kids with the Gospel and engaging them in long-term discipleship. East Side’s Awana Club meets on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30-8:00pm for children from 2 years thru 6th grade. Children will learn God’s Word, memorize Scripture, play games, and worship each Wednesday night. There are also several special events throughout the year.

Reach Kids
Kids in Awana discover God’s love and their identity in Christ and become disciple-makers who reach out to their friends. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.
Equip Parents
Awana equips church leaders and parents to reach and disciple kids who impact their generation with the Gospel. Awana provides resources for parents to learn Scripture with their children and to engage in devotionals at home.
Change the World
Kids lives are transformed, families become stronger and churches build community through active involvement in Awana. Through Awana we are able to partner with missionaries in more than 100 countries to reach more kids with the Gospel.
